Makes 12 Servings



  1. 1 pound 90/10 ground beef

    1 package frozen tater tots

    2 garlic cloves, minced

    1 tsp onion powder

    1/4 tsp chili powder

    Salt and pepper

    1 8 oz. container sour cream

    ½ cup ranch dressing

    3 Tbsp. chopped fresh chives, divided

    1 8 oz. package shredded cheddar cheese


    1. Prepare tater tots as directed on the package.  
    2. Meanwhile, heat large nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot.  Add ground beef, onion powder, chili powder, garlic, salt and pepper to taste; cook 5 to7 minutes, breaking beef into 1/2 inch crumbles and stirring occasionally. Cook until all beef is browned.
    3. Mix sour cream, ranch dressing, and 2 Tbsp. chives until blended.
    4. Spread tater tots onto platter; top with sour cream mixture, cheese, and prepared ground beef.Sprinkle with remaining chives and enjoy!
